From Waity to Witchy Katie! A temporarily unattached Kate Middleton opted for a sexy witch getup for Halloween back, when she was on a break from then-boyfriend Prince William.

The future Duchess of Cambridge, who met William at St. Andrews University, embraced her single status that October in black boots, fishnets, a black dress, and witch's cape. The royal-to-be was joined by her younger sister Pippa, then 23, and they partied at London's Mahiki Club.

Going out and looking good was all a part of Middleton's plan to get William back. At the time, a source told Us Weekly that Kate was devastated following their Aprilsplit, but Pippa and her mom Carole urged her to get back out there to show William what he was missing.

After spending months apart — and after Middleton spent countless nights on the town — William and Kate then rekindled their romance in July. In October, William finally proposed to Kate in Kenya. The couple said "I do" in the most watched television event of the year in April. They welcomed son George in July, and expect their second child in april of next year.
