Spoken Reasons: Kanye Is the Closest We Have to Tupac

http://www.vladtv.com - Spoken Reasons sat down with VladTV and dropped major knowledge on Kanye West's impact on a whole generation, why he's the closest thing to Tupac within today's landscape, why Kendrick Lamar will make it to the top without antics, and how Lil Wayne will be dropping albums until the end of time.

Reasons starts off by saying Kanye's "College Dropout" inspired him and several others of his generation to literally drop out of college and pursue their dreams by other means. He also feels Kanye isn't the crazy guy the media portrays him to be, but rather he's very misunderstood and simply refuses to be constrained to only making music.

Kanye has compared himself to Tupac in the past, with many fans feeling the comparison is unwarranted. Spoken Reasons agrees with 'Ye, however, pointing out some specific similarities within the two emcees' backgrounds.

Spoken Reasons then transitions into discussing Kendrick Lamar, who unlike Kanye doesn't seem to care about much other than being an amazing lyricist. According to Reasons, Lamar's talent is strong enough that he'll be able to make it to the next level without ruffling too many feathers outside of Hip-Hop, but will be considered one of the greatest off of music alone.

Lastly, Reasons compares another rapper to Tupac -- Lil Wayne. As where Kanye and Tupac have similar backgrounds, Reasons feels Lil Wayne is the closest to 'Pac in terms of work ethic, and guarantees that just like 'Pac, when Weezy passes he will have years of new material on deck.
