Stephen Jackson: ESPN Went Too Far With Michael Sam

While Stephen believes that gay people are entitled to live their lives how they please, he doesn't believe that every team is ready to deal with the potential controversies that signing an openly gay athlete might bring. He went on to address the Brooklyn Nets signing Jason Collins over other potentially better athletes as being part of a publicity stunt.



Stephen also spoke on the recent drama surrounding ESPN broadcasting Michael Sam sharing a kiss with his boyfriend after being drafted to the NFL. Jackson applauded him for being drafted, but also believes that ESPN "went too far" and expressed his honest opinion on how he doesn't want his son seeing that type of thing on TV.
