Janice Dickinson, the former model and television host, has claimed she was sexually assaulted by comedian Bill Cosby in the 1980s.
It is the latest in a string of allegations of sexual misconduct against Cosby, 77, who spent years as one of the most revered and loved figures in US television when he fronted The Cosby Show sitcom.
Several women have come forward in recent weeks but Dickinson, 59, is by far the most high profile.
In a filmed interview with Entertainment Tonight she alleged that Cosby sexually assaulted her in Lake Tahoe, California in 1982 after a meeting to discuss a possible role on The Cosby Show.
She said the comedian had called her while she was in rehab for alcohol and drugs, and asked her to come to meet him.
